I first met Harold in 1948. I was travelling up to central London and met a local girl, who invited me to a young conservative meeting, which was at Harold’s house. We were all full of idealistic ideas post war, how we as a group of young people could help make changes to England. Most of us were members of local churches and going in the right direction. Harold had a special friend called Arnold, who eventually became my husband. So it as time went by, we kept in touch. We eventually moved to Reading on Harold & Margaret’s recommendation and we looked after their dogs Sindy & Honey when they went on holiday. Then they moved to Henley, but we kept in touch and stay friends for years 🥰😍🥰

A life long family friend to our parents and us as children. Many happy days were spent together and much love, interest and support was always given and will be for ever remembered in our hearts.
