I first met Harold in 1948. I was travelling up to central London and met a local girl, who invited me to a young conservative meeting, which was at Harold’s house. We were all full of idealistic ideas post war, how we as a group of young people could help make changes to England. Most of us were members of local churches and going in the right direction. Harold had a special friend called Arnold, who eventually became my husband. So it as time went by, we kept in touch. We eventually moved to Reading on Harold & Margaret’s recommendation and we looked after their dogs Sindy & Honey when they went on holiday. Then they moved to Henley, but we kept in touch and stay friends for years 🥰😍🥰
